TORONTO, Dec. 15, 2005 - The Trees of Peace Celebration hosted
and launched by Humber River Regional Hospital Foundation in
conjunction with Yorkgate Mall will culminate in the judging of
the Trees of Peace Decorating Contest on Saturday, December
17th. A VIP panel of judges from the community include the
Honourable Judy Sgro, MP, York West, Toronto Councillor Maria
Augimeri, Toronto Fire Chief Bill Stewart, Executive Producer of
Jane-Finch.com Mark Simms, Bank of Montreal Branch Manager Josie
DeSantis and Community Leader George McKenzie. The event brings
local schools, families and friends together to help foster
peace and harmony in the community, and at the same time
supports the hospital's Women's and Children's Health Program.
