The 2011 Jane-Finch Rap Off
Contest was held on January 29, 2011 at the Oakdale
Community Centre. Contestants were welcomed from across the
Greater Toronto Area, including artists from Malvern, Ajax, Regent Park and
Jane-Finch. There was a $500 cash prize for the winner
after three rounds of competition. The judges were C4, Dukey
Dukes, Kayode Brown and Femi. Music was provided by DJ
Tyson. There performers were: K.D.B., Papa Corleone, Young
Bayz, Young Chris, M.Q., Fame, Lola Buns, Lex, Shades, Ride
Out Squad (R.O.S.), O.G. (Fitted), Kimi, Gramz G., Blaze,
Prince Rose, Nice Touch, Yo Mi (A.Y.), Q.T. Tha Don, Keepin'
it Real and Specks.
