Toronto, May 5, 2012 - The
environment and green space was the focus for the 2012
Jane's Walk in the Jane-Finch neighbourhood. The walk was
called 'Finch to Farm' and showcased community gardens,
farms and green projects in the Jane-Finch area.
This year's walk was hosted by the Green Change project
(Jane-Finch Family and Community Centre), The Spot, OPIRG
York, Black Creek Community Energy Coalition (BCCEC) and the
Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA).
Featuring interviews with
Clarissa Robertson, Green Change, Heather Marshall, Toronto
Environmental Alliance, Justyna Braithwaite, Toronto and
Region Conservation Authority and Naila Lalji, OPIRG York.
