"Art of Fighting" was shot
during winter 1998. Paul Nguyen, Mark Simms and Sophy Kong
sneaked into the Fine Arts building at York University to
film. They started at 12am and completed the movie at 5am.
"Art of Fighting" is a technical marvel of in-camera
editing. Watch out for the tight editing sequences, as the
actors had to repeat their movements several times to
capture the effect of multiple angles.
Trivia: No editing equipment
was used to cut the film. The film was edited in-camera as
the sequences were shot.
