Off The Beaten Track: Asian Canadians in the Creative Field
 
Ottawa, May 22, 2012 — The Vietnamese Canadian Federation hosted 'Off The Beaten Track: Asian Canadians in the Creative Field' at the Library and Archives Canada. This presentation included a panel of Asian-Canadian artists from across Canada who spoke about the challenges and importance of pursuing creative careers. The speakers included fashion designer Andy The-Anh (Montreal), jazz singer Peter Liu (Ottawa), visual artist and independent curator Minh Nguyen (Ottawa), filmmaker and social activist Paul Nguyen (Toronto), and researcher and consultant Amanda Parriag (Ottawa).
