Childhood friends Mark Simms and Sophy Kong reminisce making
kung-fu movies in the Jane-Finch area as kids in the mid-90s. Using a Sony Hi8, they filmed hundreds of
short fight films in the roughest parts of their neighbourhood
with dreams of going to Hollywood. 25 years ago they were known as the
Action Heroes
of Jane and Finch.
