An Evening in Memory
of Senator Paul Yuzyk - Father of Multiculturalism
Ottawa, June 11, 2026 - Jane-Finch.com founder Paul Nguyen
travelled to the nation's capital to attend "An Evening in
Memory of Senator Paul Yuzyk." The commemorative event was
organized by Member of Parliament Tom Kmech in conjunction
with the Ukrainian National Federation (UNF).
The
evening featured a keynote address by the Honourable Jason
Kenney, former Minister of Immigration and former Premier of
Alberta, and remarks by Senator Yonah Martin, honouring the
late Senator Yuzyk, known as the "Father of
Multiculturalism."
In attendance were other MPs,
dignitaries, and community leaders, including Nguyen and
Dominic Campione, who were both past recipients of the
Paul
Yuzyk Award for Multiculturalism.
